Founder

Nick has a strong commitment to ensuring that all students in the Mid-Michigan area have access to quality education. With twelve years of tutoring experience under his belt, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table that benefits both parents and students alike.
Throughout his younger years, Nick worked as a school-hired tutor and provided valuable assistance to a diverse range of students in various scenarios. He firmly believes in the importance of providing every student with the necessary resources to succeed, and with Nucleus Tutoring, he hopes to make this a reality.
In 2023, Nick founded Nucleus Tutoring with the goal of consistently pursuing innovative & affordable solutions with his team of compassionate, expert tutors.

Alex has a strong background with students of all ages from his previous experience working as a residential advisor at the University of Michigan and his current work tutoring chemistry and engineering. He also is actively involved in many research projects where he helps onboard and teach upcoming college students the ins and outs of research. Alex is a compassionate tutor and works well with different teaching styles to help his students fully understand the material and succeed personally. Alex enjoys working with students of all ages in various subjects and specializes in chemistry and math.Â

Alex is a current medical student at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine with a Bachelor's in Biochemistry and Statistics from the University of Michigan. Alex is looking forward to helping all students achieve their full potential for a brighter future!

Brendan uses his wide range of knowledge to apply multiple adaptable subject approaches to all types of students. Brendan prefers to emphasize overall mental strength improvement in his tutoring, allowing students to feel confidence in all aspects of their academic journeys.
Brendan strives to bring out the full potential of every student he tutors, and is not afraid to give students an extra "push" as they improve. He works hard to give his students the "aha" moment that they've been hoping for, and is excited to help this year's students do the same.
Brendan graduated from Michigan Technical University with a degree in Exercise Science and is currently a medical student at Michigan State University. In his spare time he loves to hike and bike in all the parks around Michigan.

Noor is a passionate math tutor with 7 years of experience. Working with students of all ages, she is an expert in a variety of math subjects, and is more than happy to help her math students succeed! Noor loves helping her students gain confidence in their understanding of difficult concepts and creating an engaging and safe environment to promote powerful learning.

With her calm and progressive style of tutoring, Noor works perfectly with students who are wanting to learn by tutoring throughout the year. As a professional tutor, she believes in the strength of confidence in her student's studies, and works to instill that confidence in every one of her students.

Noor is a first-year medical student at Michigan State University. Noor graduated with a Master's Degree in Public Health from Wayne State University. She's excited to meet the wonderful students in the areas around Michigan State University and beyond!

Rayyan brings his strong background in tutoring after working with students of all ages with Biology, Math, Chemistry, and various college-level subjects. He enjoys helping students present their best selves to admissions boards at both the undergraduate and medical school levels, and has worked with students on their application essays, supplemental essays, and activities sections to great success.
He takes great passion in helping students achieve their academic goals and thrive in a supportive learning environment. Outside of teaching and tutoring, he enjoys playing and watching sports, traveling, and exploring different cuisines.
Rayyan is a current medical student at Michigan State University with a Bachelor's in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. He looks forward to helping his students succeed at whatever they put their minds to!

Hunter is a recent graduate of Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He has years of experience tutoring students in subjects ranging from Human Biology, Physics, Anatomy, Genetics, and Environmental Science. He also has tutored elementary school students virtually on topics of mathematics and writing.
Recently, Hunter has applied to both medical school and law school, earning multiple acceptances into both types of programs. Today, Hunter is a 1st year law student at Cooley Law School. Hunter possesses knowledge about multiple parts of the learning experience, and he's passionate about using different teaching styles to achieve student success in school.

In his free time, he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and playing pickleball. Hunter's looking forward to bringing innovative and engaging learning approaches to students to help achieve personal academic goals.

Riya is a compassionate, multifaceted tutor with experience teaching students of all backgrounds and ages in subject such as Math, Science, English, SAT/ACT Prep, Art, and Piano. She is dedicated to helping students achieve their dream MCAT scores and pursue their passions for medicine. Riya excels at meeting students at their level, adapting test strategies for each unique learner, and creating organized approachable study plans.
Riya is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and double minor in Art & Design and Sociology. She is currently a medical student at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. In her free time, Riya enjoys fine art, hiking, exploring new restaurants, and watching movies with friends.

Heather is patient and dedicated with the goal of ensuring all students reach their full potential. She has extensive experience in biology, biochemistry, and all sections on the MCAT. She
excels in breaking down complex topics into clear, approachable concepts that boost both understanding and confidence.
Heather can adapt tutoring methods to match each student’s individual learning style. She can give suggestions on effective test-taking strategies and help develop effective learning plans. Outside of academics, Heather loves to play tennis, hike, and paint.

Ethan has a strong commitment to ensuring every student is well-prepared for the MCAT and feels confident in applying to medical school.
Ethan graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Neuroscience and Human Biology. He is currently a medical student at the MSU College of Human Medicine. Outside of school, Ethan enjoys creative writing and participating in sports of all kinds.
